場所

Karimunjawa is an archipelago of 27 islands in the Java Sea, around 80 km off the north coast of Central Java. Most of the area is a protected marine national park.

ジャパルから

The main port is Pelabuhan Kartini, Jepara. The Siginjai ferry takes approximately 5 hours, while the Express Bahari Fastboat takes approximately 2.5 hours. Schedules vary; ask for the latest schedule when booking.

セマラから

From Semarang, travel by car or shuttle for approximately 2.5 hours to Pelabuhan Kartini Jepara, then continue by boat. Direct Semarang–Karimunjawa flights are also available on selected days.

ヨカルタから

From Yogyakarta, the overland journey to Jepara takes approximately 4.5–5.5 hours, followed by a boat crossing. Alternatively, fly from Yogyakarta (if available).

スラバヤから

From Surabaya, the most common route is by train or car to Semarang or Jepara, followed by a boat crossing. The total journey takes approximately 8–10 hours, depending on connections.

Siginjai vs Express Bahari

The Siginjai Ferry is a large vessel that is more stable in large waves and less expensive, but the journey takes approximately 5 hours. Express Bahari Fastboat is faster (approximately 2.5 hours) and more comfortable in good weather, but is more affected by high waves.

April–October generally offers more favourable weather. The rainy season (November–March) more frequently brings high waves and the possibility of boat delays.
